My dad was a good man a family man, very very hard working, i never remember my dad having a day off
sick,he worked in london and every day was up at the crack of dawn to travel. He could be a bit
serious a times but was definately a big softy he enjoyed his job but he enjoyed a pint more, he had
his own tankard and seat in the local pub in the village, when he discovered he had heart problems
he was told to keep the drink to a mimnimum, wich he did, well he said he did lol he was taken into
hospital with some problems where he collapsed,he was due to be transfered to have an operation but
he only got as far as the ambulance and his heart finally gave up on him, this was a terrible time
for us as my son darren had passed away the year before, wish i had been alot closer to my dad cos i
miss him alot, so all you girls out there make sure you give your dad a hug no matter how old you
are. MISS YOU DAD

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Two smiling eyes at rest,
God broke your familys hearts to prove to them,
He only takes the best.
